Songli ("we", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. We are committed to GDPR-compliant data handling practices.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following information when you use our service:

  • Recipient Name — Used solely to personalize the generated song lyrics and content.
  • Birth Date — Used to tailor the birthday theme. We do not use this for age verification or marketing.
  • Email Address — Collected during the payment process for order confirmation and delivery of your unique watch page link.
  • Music Genre Preference— Used to guide the AI music generation engine.
  • Usage Analytics — Anonymized interaction data (page views, button clicks) to improve the user experience.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively for:

  • Generating the personalized song and video content you ordered.
  • Processing your payment through our Merchant of Record (Lemon Squeezy).
  • Delivering the completed product via email or unique URL.
  • Improving our AI generation pipeline and user experience.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers.

4. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database located in the EU (Frankfurt region). All connections use TLS encryption. Access to the database is restricted to authenticated service roles only.

Generated media (audio and video files) are stored on secure, third-party CDN infrastructure and are accessible via unique, non-guessable URLs.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to deliver our product:

  • Supabase — Database hosting (EU region).
  • Kie.ai / Suno — AI music and video generation engine.
  • Lemon Squeezy — Payment processing (Merchant of Record).
  • Vercel — Web application hosting.
  • Cloudflare — DNS and security proxy.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them for details on their data practices.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable privacy regulations, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Rectify inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Port your data to another service.
  • Object to processing.

7. Data Retention

Generated content (audio and video URLs) is retained for as long as your watch page is active. Account and transaction data is retained for a minimum of 6 years to comply with financial record-keeping requirements. You may request deletion of personal data at any time.

8. Cookies

We use minimal, essential cookies for session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided data to us, contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
